In the networking industry we have a little saying about backhoes:
Whenever you travel in the wilderness, be sure to care a spare length of fiber optic cable with you. If you ever become lost, bury it in the ground and then wait for a backhoe to show up and cut it. Ride out with the repair crew.
That backhoe looks remarkably well behaved.
