Back in November 2001, before I was much of a birder, we went on the canoe trail at the Loxahatchee NWR. We saw a flock of thousands upon thousands of tree swallows and got a few pictures with an old point-and-shoot film camera. (We hadn’t yet gone digital.)
Since then, I’ve been trying to get a single image of a swallow worth showing. The gallery below shows the huge flock from 2001, and how successful I’ve been at capturing more images of these fast-moving birds.
