During my recent trip to Oregon to view the solar eclipse, I took the opportunity to walk some nature trails. One that I liked was an educational wetland called Jackson Bottom along the Tualatin River in Washington County, OR. I didn’t get many usable shots, but I did enjoy this picture of an unidentified pollinator (long-horned bee perhaps?) doing its thing with a flower:
Normally when I feature a bug on the blog, I know all about it and what flower it’s on, etc. etc. But this time it’s just a pretty picture. (And not even all that great of a picture—that blurry spot in the right corner is pretty distracting.) But I did want to post SOMETHING other than the eclipse from my recent trip.
