Every kid loves story time. You get your PJs on, you snuggle up with mom or dad, and you get to hear (for the umpty-millionth time) how some character or other loves something or other. Here, it’s how everyone loves something. What you don’t always realize, as a parent, is what gets processed in that kid’s brain. This little sesame street book has two clocks in it, and Eric knows exactly what a clock looks like.
Every time we get to a page with a clock on it, he points:

Sometimes the story goes down well, other times it doesn’t (actually, he’s just teething, as he has been for the past couple of weeks. 2-year molars seem hellbent on arriving ahead of schedule!):
And if you think clocks are something, wait til you see what he does with the moon! He is NOT one of those people who suffer from the mistaken impression that the moon only comes out at night!
