I was in the front yard this morning with my macro lens looking for bugs, and I found a few. The first was a sweet little bee looking for pollen in our primroses.

Then I moved from the primroses over to the lavender, where things were a bit more grim. I found a crab/flower spider (genus Misumena or Misemunops, I forget which, probably the latter) feasting on its breakfast, a Western Honeybee, and there were a few flies enjoying the meal as well. Still trying to get an ID on the flies.

Later on, I found another sweet little bee gathering pollen from our Cleveland Sage:

Lots of stuff out there to see; get out there and see it!
