Atascadero Lake is a great spot to go birding. It’s always changing, there’s always something new to see. The other day we got a visit from the osprey, which we hadn’t seen in a couple of weeks.

One thing I’ve noticed about Ospreys is that they seem to have no trouble flying very close to me, but they always hunt on the other side of the darn lake.
