My dream destination for this year’s solar eclipse was clouded out, so rather than travel to a clouded-out total eclipse, I stayed home and witnessed the partial eclipse from the front yard. Here’s what we saw. I ran two cameras, one with a 500mm telephoto and one with a 600m zoom telephoto. I alternate between the two and cropped all to the same relative size, which is why the sun’s disk is larger in half the photos.
